If sculpting the perfect beach body has somehow slipped off your to-do list this month, it’s time to tone up and boost your seaside confidence with a yoga sequence from Tara Stiles, founder of Strala Yoga in New York City. “Moving to these poses creates a sense of calm and [comfort] within your skin,” says Stiles.

The following poses engage all major muscle groups and strengthen hard-to-target areas such as your inner and outer thighs and lower abs. Because all the poses are designed to align your spine, this workout can also improve your posture and balancemaking you look lean and tall as you strut your stuff down the boardwalk.

Directions
Practice the following workout four times a week. Stay in each pose for 5 deep inhales and exhales. After you finish the last pose, repeat the sequence on the other side.
