Side-Lying Lateral Raise for Men

Side-Lying Lateral Raise

  1. Grab a dumbbell in your right hand and lie on your left side on an incline bench that's set to 15 degrees. Hold the dumbbell next to your right side with your palm facing your thigh.
  2. Without changing the bend in your elbow, raise your arm until it's in line with your shoulder as you rotate your palm outward. Your arm should be perpendicular to your body and your palm should be facing forward. Lower the weight and repeat.

This move has been excerpted from The Men's Health Big Book of Exercises by Adam Campbell.
