Barbell Box Lunge for Women
Barbell Box Lunge
- Place a 6-inch step or box about 2 feet in front of you. Hold a bar across your upper back with an overhand grip.
- Step forward onto the box with your left leg, and then lower your body into a lunge. Pause, then push yourself to the starting position as quickly as you can. Complete the prescribed number of repetitions with your left foot forward, then do the same number with your right foot in front of your left.
Tip The upper thigh of your front leg should be well below parallel to the floor.
